Christopher Peter Meloni (born Christopher Peter Meloni) is an American actor, most famous as a star of the well-known TV series 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. The first time he became interested in acting was when he was in college. He was a student of acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He was also active in film and TV, his roles on small screens are what brought him much fame. He is able to play each of the characters on behalf of the police and the different. This is the reason that is what makes him so famous. In his first TV series, he played the part of a killer. Later, he was able to play the part of an NYPD Detective. Multiple times he was recognized for his work in the highly coveted Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. It is his trademark striking blue eyes that have been said to make the actor look gorgeous. They have helped to portray rough characters in a charismatic style. People's magazine's 2006 list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
